Hello, adventurers! We're back with updates on how our newest release, Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, fits into D&D Adventurers League and Legends of Greyhawk.
Adventurers League Updates

All character options in Eberron: Forge of the Artificer are available in the Eberron campaign of D&D Adventurers League. For Dragonlance and Ravenloft, instead use the character options listed for Legends of Greyhawk (see below). For Forgotten Realms, add the other three Artificer subclasses (Armorer, Artillerist, and Battle Smith) to the Legends of Greyhawk options.
Creators crafting Eberron campaign adventures for the Dungeoncraft program may use the new monsters present in Eberron: Forge of the Artificer.
The D&D Adventurers League Player's Guide, the D&D Adventurer's League DM's Guide, and the Dungeoncraft Design Guide will be updated with these changes, which will be posted in the D&D Beyond Organized Play forum in early December. For questions and feedback, visit the official D&D Discord, where you can find Adventurers League channels under “Organized Play.”
Eberron: Forge of the Artificer in Legends of Greyhawk
The release of Eberron: Forge of the Artificer contains character options that are suitable for Legends of Greyhawk. We've updated the Legends of Greyhawk Guide to accommodate these new options, which include adding the following for character creation:
- The Artificer class
- 2 Artificer subclasses: Alchemist and Cartographer
- The Homunculus Servant spell
For details, check out the “Additional Sources” section of the guide. These new options are available immediately for play. Players can rebuild their existing characters to include one or more of these options–see the guide below for more information.

Posted Nov 25, 2025Follow up question: What of Shifter and Changeling. They are currently legal in all AL from being printed in MP:MotM. To AL players continue to use those versions, update to the new versions in Eberron, or are they suddenly not allowed outside of Eberron?

Posted Nov 28, 2025Does anyone know how this affects the Eberron Oracle of War campaign?
Can we simply update current Eberron Oracle of War characters to the Legends of Greyhawk Guide or is the plan to update the Oracle of War Player and GM's guides at some stage?

Posted Dec 1, 2025*EDIT*
Okay I got it working following an old artificer thread: I first clicked "resync entitlements" on https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses then hard-refreshed the character builder and new content is showing up! Yay!
---
My DM got access to "Eberron: Forge of the Artificer" already and I'm trying to update/rebuild my existing Tasha's Cauldron of Everything Artificer in dndbeyond character builder. However, after removing my old artificer class, I can't see the new 2024 Artificer class to add despite having my character in the campaign.
The Legends of Greyhawk Guide PDF linked above says:
Does my DM need to do something, or how can I access the new content within the character builder and VTT? I can read the content through the campaign source material just fine.
Excited to try a Gnome Artificer Battle Smith with "Mark of Passage" and plus "Potent Dragonmark" to access Find Steed upcasting as a full-caster every short rest to use that Celestial steed bonus action every *short rest* now potentially! xD

Posted Dec 6, 2025If you didn’t purchase the book yourself you need to create a character in a campaign that has campaign sharing enabled in order to access the new content and make sure the expanded options button is checked in character settings
