Eight Subclasses Steeped in the Arcane
Arcana Unleashed adds 8 subclasses for spellcasters and martials alike. Draw power from a dying god as a Vestige Patron Warlock, lace every blow with magic as a Warrior of the Mystic Arts Monk, or weave spells into your shots as an Arcane Archer Fighter.
Rounding out the roster are the Arcana Domain Cleric and four Wizard subclases that specialize in particular Schools of Magic—Conjurer, Enchanter, Necromancer, and Transmuter.
SWATCHES STUDIO
Nine Factions and a Society Run on Magic
Arcana Unleashed introduces 9 arcane factions, each with its own leadership, renown rewards, bastion facilities, member benefits, and rivalries. Chart the multiverse with the Conjuration-focused Horizon Weavers, trade in secrets with the Enchantment-focused Bejeweled Conclave, dissect death alongside the Necromancy-focused Covenant of the Grave, or steal dangerous knowledge with the shadowy Ninth Quill.
The book also adds 10 backgrounds, most of which are tied to a faction, so you can shape your character's story by embroiling them in the rivalries and alliances of arcane politics.

What comes in the Arcana Unleashed Ultimate Bundle?
The Arcana Unleashed Ultimate Bundle gives you the entire Arcana Unleashed experience in both digital and physical formats: the core Arcana Unleashed gameplay expansion, the Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall adventure, the Arcana Unleashed Map Pack, and the digital pre-order bonuses.
The Arcana Unleashed Ultimate Bundle is $129.99, and you save $34.95 over buying the pieces separately.
8 Subclasses: Arcana Domain (Cleric), Arcane Archer (Fighter), Warrior of the Mystic Arts (Monk), Vestige Patron (Warlock), and the Conjurer, Enchanter, Necromancer, and Transmuter (Wizard)
10 Backgrounds, nearly all tied to an arcane faction
33 new and revised spells
20+ feats, including new options across the Origin, Fighting Style, Epic Boon, and General categories
How Will You Manifest Arcane Might?
Whether you're building a spellcaster worthy of legend or leading a party of agents into the heart of Thay, Arcana Unleashed hands you a world where magic is yours to weave into whatever story you want to tell.
Will you build a rich world of warring magical factions? Explore ancient civilizations that collapsed under their own arcane might? Or introduce new and confounding magic to a world that hasn't seen its kind before? The choice is yours!
So, I clicked the link to the Marketplace and discovered that all four available options (ultimate bundle/separate rules expansion/separate adventure/separate map pack) cost $129.99 (even when filtered by Digital or Physical tick box)… harsh!
Yes, I know when you Quick View deep-delve into each, it shows you their real price - that's $59.97 total if you're interested in buying the 3 digital only option separately at the moment(?) and is it only those people buying physical book that are special enough to get the digital pre-order bonuses?
Digital pre-order bonus: The Arcane Mastery Digital Dice set, Dungeon Masters: Arcana Unleashed Play-Along Pack, D&D Encounters: Red Wizards' Gambit mini adventure.
Hopefully, we'll get some clarity - perhaps the community can cast a collective Guidanceto help... or perhaps anything we do is already too late, because an Agent of The Ninth Quill has already infiltrated and sabotaged things!
This seems to suggest that they reprinted and nerfed Absorb Elements.
I hope they did the same with Silvery Barbs.
Really confused why this got gutted? It always felt like a nice defensive alternative to shield when you fighting against those damage types.
Agreed on Silvery Barbs though, I hope that is scaled back.
But maybe it was an error or it works quite differently now because a few minutes later the DM says that he has resistance to fire thanks to Absorb Elements...
They could get rid of 2 of the wizard subclasses that they decided to put in. Or just... add more since it was just a rebalance (or just reworded in some cases) of subclasses that already existed. I mean... they didn't even add a NEW wizard subclass. if this was all about magic Order of the Scribe would have been great! the gotta catch em all (spell wise) would be good for this. This does feel disappointing. If alot of these are just re-balances there should be more.
Exactly this. I hate the way Arcane Archer was made. If I’m playing an “Arcane Archer” I’d want them to actually feel like it. Always felt like playing a severely crippled Eldritch Knight that had a handful of trick shots instead of actual magic.
