Posted Jul 31, 2026No love for the Druids of Azeroth? A Balance Druid Subclass that could shapeshift into a Moonkin, buffing offensive spells and AC slightly, would have been awesome. A Restoration Druid subclass with a Tree-form shapeshift that buffs healing would have been cool too.

Posted Jul 31, 2026If Swashbuckler Rogue and Brewmaster/Drunken Master Monk aren't released for free on D&D Beyond when this WoW book drops, I'm going to be heated.
I shouldn't have to buy a book for an IP I don't know or care about to play with 2014 D&D subclasses I've purchased multiple times with the new 2024 balance pass/update.
I also shouldn't have to wait for it to be reprinted months or years later collected in another form outside of this outside IP book.
I initially was excited for people who are into WoW or Star Wars to get crossover content even though I'm not into it and won't purchase it.
But if D&D is putting content that was in D&D first with rules updates in outside IP content either first or solely there with it never coming to core D&D.... WTF?

Posted Aug 1, 2026From the sounds of it, there are optional abilities or feats that can be used to tweak already existing subclasses to fit the Warcraft aesthetic. I would not be surprised if Moonkin form was one of them, and then they told you to just play Circle of Stars.

Posted Aug 1, 2026Very excited for this and Star Wars. Saddened to see all the hate. DnD is a game for all. Don't like the books, the answer is simple. Don't buy them. But there are many who will for sure.
In the meantime this got me thinking of what published adventures would work well on Azeroth with minimal changes. Alot depends on how Azeroth ends up fitting in to the DnD cosmology but assuming we get that worked out, I can see the following:
Ravenloft should work pretty much as written
The Wild Beyond the Witchlight could work, especially if they tie the Feywild and the Emerald Dream together
Lost Mine of Phandelver should be easy to adapt
Tomb of Annihilation could work with some changes
Frozen Sick could be adapted to Northrend

Is it weird to say I am shocked there isn't a Warlock subclass? Idk with the whole Legion faction and Fel magic, it just kinda feels like there should be some kinda idea you can work with. Especially when iconic villains like Gul'dan and Cho'gal ARE warlocks. Like I will put my hands in the air and admit to not knowing everything about wow lore since my exposure to it is via secondary stuff like Hearthstone and HoTS, so if nothing unique could be done that isn't already offered by an official warlock subclass then I'll admit to being wrong and step aside
``` - Tekron
Pretty much, the Fiend Warlock perfectly fits the Burning Legion
There are six of them. Goblin wasn't in PHB so no Goblin reprint?
