Parent Species: Aasimar
This aasimar born of a lineage more touched by the heavens than most, High Celestials are rare among mortals. Their blood carries a stronger fragment of divine essence whether inherited from Devas, Solars, or Empyreans granting them abilities and insights beyond ordinary Aasimar. Even in mortal form, the divine spark within them burns brighter, shaping their presence, perception, and destiny.
Those of this lineage often feel a pull toward purpose beyond the mundane: guiding others, confronting darkness, or striving to fulfill the divine potential written into their souls. While their celestial blood grants great power, it also sets them apart mortals may be awed, intimidated, or unsettled by their gaze.
(Twilight) Aasimar Traits
Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom score increases by 1, and your Charisma score increases by 2.
Age
You no longer age once you reach maturity.
Size
Aasimar are built like well-proportioned humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Truesight
You have truesight out to a range of 10 feet. Within that range, you can see in normal and magical darkness, see invisible creatures and objects, automatically detect visual illusions and succeed on saving throws against them, and perceive the original form of a shapechanger or a creature that is transformed by magic. This truesight functions only while you are conscious and not blinded.
The range of this truesight increases by 10 feet whenever you gain an Ability Score Improvement, to a maximum range of 60 feet.
As a bonus action, you can sharpen your truesight until the end of your current turn. When you do so, the range of your truesight increases to 30 feet, or doubles if it is already 30 feet or greater.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Celestial Resistance
You have resistance to necrotic damage and radiant damage.
Celestial Telekinesis
Mage Hand (Enhanced).
You can cast Mage Hand at will, without verbal or somatic components. The spectral hand is invisible and can be controlled as a bonus action. Its range is 60 feet.
Telekinetic Shove.
Once on each of your turns, you can push or pull a creature within 30 feet that fails a Strength saving throw. The DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your choice of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma. On a failed save, you can move the creature 10 feet in a direction of your choice.
Focused Lift.
As a bonus action, you can move one unattended object weighing up to 30 pounds, or a willing creature of your size or smaller, up to 15 feet in any direction. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.
Telekinetic Mastery (Epic Upgrade).
- At level 10, the range of your Telekinetic Shove and Focused Lift increases to 60 feet, and you may move objects or willing creatures up to 60 pounds.
- At level 18, your mastery reaches its peak. You can:
- Push, pull, or lift any creature or object within 120 feet, no matter the weight (up to DM discretion for extreme objects).
- Use Telekinetic Shove or Focused Lift without limit (still requires line of sight/awareness).
Celestial Telepathy
Your heightened celestial heritage allows you to communicate effortlessly with others, even across vast distances, and in ways beyond mortal speech. You gain the following abilities:
Telepathy:
You can communicate telepathically with any creature within 60 feet. You don’t need a shared language, and the communication is instantaneous.
When you use your telepathy, you can convey complex concepts, emotions, and even nuanced ideas as clearly as spoken language. The creature receiving your telepathy understands you perfectly, as if you were speaking a language it knows. You can send and receive messages telepathically to any number of creatures within range.
At level 10, this range increases to 120 feet. At level 18 you can communicate telepathically with any creature you are aware of, regardless of distance or plane. When you use this telepathy, the creature understands you perfectly, even if it does not know any language.
Unlike normal telepathy, your connection is not limited by range, though you must be able to perceive the target (by sight or other sense).
Celestial Flight
Your wings are a natural extension of your planar essence, a manifestation of the divine spark within you.
As a bonus action, you can sprout or retract your wings at will. While your wings are sprouted, you gain a flying speed equal to double your walking speed for 1 minute, and you can hover.
After the first minute, you gain 1 level of exhaustion. Each additional minute you keep your wings out beyond the first adds 1 additional level of exhaustion at the end of that minute. You may retract your wings at any time as a bonus action; exhaustion only accrues after a minute has passed. Retracting your wings does not remove exhaustion already gained.
Mastery of Flight.
- By level 10, your proficiency with your wings makes flight less taxing. The DM may reduce or ignore exhaustion levels from your wings at this point.
- By level 18, you achieve full mastery, allowing permanent flight. You can sprout your wings indefinitely without accruing exhaustion, though you may still retract them as a bonus action.
Lanuague
You can speak, read, and write Common and Celestial.
