Homebrew Acinon Species Details

A species evolved from a non-intelligent life form similar to the “big cat” species on Earth, these creatures are diverse and agile. Born to survive in their mountainous homeland, they have retractable claws that make them excellent climbers.

In appearance, these creatures have a wide variety of skin and eye color. Common skin colors are white, grey, black, brown, orange, or tan. Many of them have multiple colors at once. Calico and tortoiseshell colorings are not uncommon. Their eyes are brown, yellow, green, or blue with pupils that expand and contract greatly depending on lighting.

This species has many unique social customs related to appearance. Males who are in active careers (such as military, repairmen, or farmers) have short hair, but all other males pride themself on their long, beautiful hair. Males with the longest, most well taken care of hair are often considered the most attractive. Females do not have to worry about this, though their hair length is often correlated to their career as well. Males in political positions are expected to have long hair.
