Homebrew Bronze Orc Species Details

Bronze orc culture is largely tribal with leaders ruling through cunning, profitable looting raids or physical prowess. They're natural adventurers and tomb raiders, who can see the value in almost any material. This can help them make long-winded but profitable trades with outsiders though the more warlike tribes have a poor relationship with permanent settlements. They don't have strong relations to their orcish cousins but they have a long and largely stable relationship with the Varags, distant cousins of the warlike hobgoblins. The two peoples see a sort of nomadic kinship and they're one of the few groups that bronze orcs will actively avoid combat with. It's alleged that that first bronze orcs were originally from a massive war band that tried and failed to invade the ancient elven kingdom of Sylveria. Part of the horde fled into the deserts where they believed they could avoid detection. As the future generations adapted to their desert home, the old grudge faded into myth until they were noticeably distinct from their ancestors. Seeing no reason to return to the west long term, the new bronze orc population established the Dune Clan system. Nomadic clans were recommended to be led by a leader during peacetime and a separate leader for war time who would be responsible for the training of warriors and hunters during peacetime. It's largely proven to be an effective system with only a small percentage of war leaders having their co-leader assassinated. Bronze orcs that choose to adventure or live apart from their native culture are highly adventurous and open-minded. Their time outside of polite society makes them a little over enthusiastic and occasionally blind to perceptions of them in the west.
