Homebrew Beararian Species Details
Beararians are nomadic bear-like humanoids that live in deep within forest's, prefeing mostly mountainous terrain, and in tight groups of family members only. They rarely allow anyone not a relative of theirs to live in their own group for a prolonged period of time. They tend to neutrality and rarely take part in any major event that happens outside of their territory as long as one of their family is not involved. Although detached from the rest of society Beararians love most races and will not attack unless provoked accepting all with open arms.
They range in all sorts of bears and when choosing this race you can pick to be a Black, Brown, White or Panda bear-human hybrid.
Names: Beararians tend to choose very literal names based on what one does as a hobby in their group like Tree Hugger, Stone Smasher, Meat Devourer etc.
Society: Not a lot is known about Beararian society. They tend to be very secretive but it is believed they live is small groups of family members and a new member of their society is born roughly once every 10 years.

Beararians have very strong natural Sences giving you an advantage in Wisdom (Perception), Wisdom (Survival), and Intelligence (Investigation) checks, and Intelligence (Nature) checks that rely on smell.
Great Resilience
You have a very thick layer of fat and fur that give you a resistance to cold damage and naturally reduces all bludgeoning, slashing, piercing damage from non-magical attacks and force damage you take regardless if it's magical or not by 2 as some of the impact is absorbed.

You can speak, read and write Common and Beararian.
