Homebrew Alraune Species Details
The flow of life is a delicate balancing act, for life to exist, most of it has to be plants. When the lines between plant and animal cross, the result is an Alraune. These people strive to maintain the balance between nature and society.
While they certainly look more humanoid then plant, Alraune still possess floral attributes. Skin is usually a pale green in color, but can vary from person to person. Alraune hair is more akin to leaves or petals, sporting a wide variety of shape and color. They also possess a limited form of photosynthesis. And while they technically do not require food to survive, plenty of water is essential to survival.
Alraune live peacefully among society, favoring populations close to natural areas. They do tend to shy away from more barren climates like deserts and tundra, where access to stable temperature and water is more scare. They tend to lean towards druidic circles and nomadic lifestyles, but it is not uncommon for them to lay roots in one town and remain there for their entire life.
