Homebrew Wormwalker Species Details

Wormwalkers are an ancheint race of humans that evolved whilst stuck deep underground. The Wormwalkers grew claws on their for tunneling and swift movement. Thy also grew many rows of large pointed teeth to crush and grind up their pray, to make it easier for them to feed. The Wormwalker's skin also evolved to surviv the harsh depths of the underdark. They gaind the ability to rapidly age their skin untill it is a layer of calcafide scales. Most Wormwalkers are chaotic nutral.

Wormwalker Traits

Your wormwalkers character has certain characteristics in common with all other wormwalkers and humans.

Worm Claws

Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 2d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. Your teeth are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal piercing damage equal to 3d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Tunneler

Wormwalkers can burrow through solid rock at half its burrowing speed and leaves a 5 foot-wide, 8-foot-high tunnel in its wake.

Worm teeth

Your teeth are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal piercing damage equal to 3d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Calcification

Your skin begins to rapidly age and tur into calcifide scales that protect you. Your armor class is increased by 2d4 + Con for 1 hour. Available once per 2 long rests.

Ability Score Increase

Your strength score increases by 2 and your constitution score increases by 1.

Darkvision

Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Gnomish and Undercommon.
