Homebrew Borp Species Details

A Borp is a physical manifestation of psychic energy that compresses fungal spores or other particle matter into a physical form. They can be found lurking around psionic individuals and communities, using psychic energy to bolster it's own abilities. There are few Borpish communities of their own, as they usually inhabit the outskirts of communities strong in psychic energy. Borps may become adventurers when driven out of these communities due to ignorance about their true nature. The siphoning of psionic energies does not harm the individuals, but due to their nature as aberrant forces they are mistrusted. In reality, the Borpish people are a friendly and helpful group, inclined to spread good and happiness to the world around them. While this may manifest as naivety or an attitude of "for the greater good", the Borps are well meaning at heart.
