Homebrew Cadere Species Details
Disciples are the servants of the Gods. Which means that Cadere are beings that used to be disciples and were once blessed by Gods to do their bidding, but refused to serve. Many retain their magical powers, but are cursed by the Gods to be followed by sorrow for the rest of their lives. They have affinity with magic but are physically capable as well. Cadere usually cannot maintain relationships with mortals without them succumbing to some atrocity within several months of interacting with a Cadere. Due to this, many Cadere are incredibly sullen in nature, lacking social and emotional support. To worsen this, most of them are made immortal by the Gods to endure their torture longer.
Cadere Traits
Cedere spend their days avoiding mortals and hiding away from the eyes of the gods. However, they are still very capable and are considered divine.Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom Score is increased by 2. Your Intelligence Score is also increased by 1
Age
Disciples and Cadere almost just appear into existence. They are not born, However, Disciples can die of old age after several centuries. Cadere are given immortality by the Gods to prolong their suffering. Only outside forces can kill Cadere.
Alignment
Cadere are often neutral to most worldly things. They tend not to care greatly for the world they are forced to suffer in. However, they can have strong emotions and ideals about the Gods in either direction. Whether it be intense hatred or insistent reverence of the Gods, Cadere will have strong opinions of the Gods.
Size
Cadere are slightly smaller than humans, standing between 4 and 5 feet tall. They are also extremely light for their size, averaging 80lbs. Your size is medium or small.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Caelum Connection
While using concentration, you are able to hover up to 10 feet above the ground and move freely. If concentration is broken then the hovering will cease and you will fall to the ground.
Mythical Resistance
You have resistance to radiant, necrotic, and psychic damage types. You can only acquire this while wearing armor of some kind.
Kind Soul
You have proficiency in medicine and insight checks. You can also use lay on hands in the same capacity a paladin could.
Language
you know how to speak, read, and write mythical, common, and three other languages of your choice.
