Homebrew Ankriatish Species Details

Long ago, a micro-organism was dropped into The Underdark as an experiment. It began as a water-based creature, then it crawled onto the dark cave stone. Eons later, It was known as the Ankriatish. The Ankriatish are an amphibious race that live in the depths of cave lakes. Their societies are heavily fortified and they hate outsiders. Though they could be classified as "Medieval", the Ankriatish have began developing more powerful weaponry. Namely, firearms.

Ankriatish Traits

The Ankriatish are a cave-dwelling lake race who can hide between shadow.

Darkvision

Since the Ankriatish were created in dark and dim caves, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Amphibious

Ankriatish can breath underwater.
