Homebrew Anubis's Chosen Jackal Species Details

“Arise child, you have been reborn into the form of Anubis" the stinging of light as he opened his new larger wider eyes. Slowly getting ajusted as the wet bandages  were slowly being cut off the new body his cerimony compleate as he hurried his hand up to his forehead where the mark of Anubis had apeared as a golden ank on his old skin now as his fingers traced around the mark he felts the cold touch of metal the mark now embeded into his form.

Looking over at the head priest with a wide smile he exclaimed. " Thank you greatly grand priest, i hope this form helps me better carry out his will, my eyes better for guiding lost souls, my legs longer for traversing the world in his name, and my form to spread his image everywhere i go."

 

Ceramonial Form

Jackals are tall black furred canine like creatures with tall pointed ears and an elongated face. They tend to have great posture and most variety comes from their eyes color with vibrant hues of golds, greens, and lusturous purples. Some have dark features and others have light pink features such as their noses and pads on their paws. Even fewer still are reborn with tribal markings across their fur as if tattooed on by anubis himself most of which are taken in by the high church as the markings are treated as religious relics to be protected at all costs. Most stand roughly 7'3" with a moderate build.

Celestial Form

You know the Guidance cantrip. When you reach 3rd Level, you can cast the Zone of Truth spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a Long Rest. When you reach 5th Level, you can cast the Mass Healing Word spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a Long Rest. Wisdom is your Spellcasting ability for these Spells.

Your Dextarity score increases by 1, and your Wisdom score increases by 2.

Becoming a Jackal is a right of passage into adulthood and is a rebirth most jackals living 250 years after their cerimony.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
