Homebrew Cambrie Vampire Species Details

The Vampire, the vampire is a race of beings who lure people into a false sense of security. They lure people with promise of power and freedom, and many magical abilities. Yet, once they have their victim, they steal their soul to power their own life and soul like magics. These creatures are the pack leaders of the Darkplane army and they lead the charge of their armies into the fray with their thralls and soul bending magics that cloud minds and damages their psyche.

These creatures can be small or large and come in all shapes or sizes, and always have the same assortment of limbs as a common human or Humanoid being.

These creatures always tend to stick to society, always trying blend in as to not be found out and be eradicated by the orders who hunt the monsters and beings of the Darkplane. You have advantage on stealth and deception checks when trying to pass yourself off as Human in a City or Town.

You have always lived in the darkness of the Darkplane until now, and therefore have Darkvision out to 60ft and Blindsight out to 10ft. You are sensitive to light and sometimes you cannot see well in sunlight. When you make a (Wisdom) perception check to use your vision in sunlight, you have disadvantage.

As a Action you can reach into someones soul and rip a part of it out. Upon ripping out a small portion of the soul of the target you gain hitpoints equivalent to 1d4 plus your spell casting modifier; and you deal 1d8 points of Psychic damage.

You can walk as fast as a normal human, you have a walking speed of 30ft. When you reach level 14, you can become incorporeal and phase through walls and other objects for up to five minutes a day.
