Homebrew Deity Species Details

Hiding amongst the crowd

The Gods of the multiverse vary differently from world to world, as well as their appearances, whether they take the form of a giant wolf, a typical angel-like figure or

simply taking on the physical features of another race in an attempt to blend in with the mortals they oversee.

They almost never interfere with the matters of the mortal world, however. They either reside in their respective domains,

or hide away from the rest of the world in secluded forests, caves, oceans and even up high in the sky.

Should they appear before the world, even in disguise, the events that come to pass will prove to be important.

The Pantheons of the Gods

It isn't uncommon for the Deities to socialize with one another, or even mingle with other mortals. In very rare cases,

the gods sometimes even give rise to a newborn God or Demi-God.

The majority of all the known gods collectively form a pantheon, and every now and then,

they convene in a certain place to talk, perhaps about which mortals have piqued their interest, which

monster may pose a threat to the world should they remain unchecked, or even reliving the past.

Presiding over all

Every god has their rule over something, sometimes a race, sometimes a concept such as fertility or war.

Others over certain items, such as weaponry, plants and nature.

This usually manifests in certain types of magic they can perform, or in them being able to

effortlessly manipulate said objects, for example being able to move vines, tree roots and branches at will.
