Homebrew Crocks Species Details

Crocks are large reptilians that resemble crocodiles. They live in swamps, rivers, and sometimes oceans.
Crocks are mostly solitary, and never stay in one place for long.

With strong natural armor in the form of osteoderms, and powerful weapons like their jaws and tails, they're adept at melee combat, and many are hired as mercenaries.

The elder Crocks might tell a story of their ancient past, when crocks ruled mighty kingdoms in the swamps. Nobody knows if the story's true, but nobody can confirm or deny it, so it stays in the form of a legend.

Crocks don't enjoy anything more than fighting, they don't have a religion since they don't usually interact with other crocks, so they just follow three simple rules: Don't run from a fight unless absolutely necessary, Do not show mercy to your enemy (With few exceptions), And do not eat your opponent unless it's a matter of life or death (Eating your enemies is said to curse you).
