Homebrew Construct Species Details

Constructs are creatures that are made from the souls of the dead and some materials (usually rock). the souls usually retain their memories but some rare cases can show up of Constructs who have forgotten who they were in flesh.

 

Construct Traits

Constructs are almost exactly alike besides the soul and materials their made from

sacrifice

you can cast create golem as a cantrip by doing so without the materials needed makes you lose 5 max HP. you can use your own soul if another one isn't available but if you only use a portion you still retain your personality and if you use your full soul you switch to that golem

Unbreakable

 

 

 

You can focus yourself to occasionally shrug off injury. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled and reduce the damage by that total. After you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
