Homebrew Beitelan Species Details
Birthed by the Weave
A humanoid of stone craftsmanship was not merely built into existence or born by natural causes, but instead developed through an intimate coalition of arcane knowledge and Elven ingenuity. This miracle of magic was inspired by the many Dwarven cities nestled within the mountainside; who first developed the outlines of Warforged clockwork sentience. Elven scholars and artificers, through diplomacy, were able to acquire the skeleton blueprints of the Warforged creations and began their own work in the continent Olymperia. Multiple innovations in technology and a dedicated compassion for arcane intelligence laid the foundations for the ability to infuse innate objects with sentience; of which marble statues arose as the first candidates to test out of being the most anatomically correct to humanoid composition. Several failed projects and prototypes later, the introduction of Beitelan flocked to the wilds of Olymperia in search of anew.
Sentience over Subtlety
The vastly stone Beitelan had little issue in diffusing into the lands of Olymperia; contrary to the initial introduction of mechanical beings in Bray. The arcane-fueled flourished in coexistence among the Material plane and even began the slow and arduous process of civilization. Cities emerged from war-torn lands that proudly marked the territory of solaced creation and granted new havens for those magically adept. Not long after the first city of Beitelan arose; named Mychalan after their original creator, more settlements and villages spread along Olymperia and helped introduce an arcane-inclined population, able to advance technology along in their own specializations alongside the Elven and others. Beitelan eventually became a common race to find in the continent and shared the same respect as would any humanoid among the continent.
