Homebrew Wulver Species Details
Wulver are a nomadic people who circulate in the coldest environments. In their travels they tend to work alongside any life they come across rather than coming into conflict with them, whether that would be a group arctic explorers or the owlbears that would hunt said group. Wulver try to form a give and take relationship with any party of people or beasts they can, with both sides treated as equals.
Wolver are most known for their hunting ability, and often build up the anticipation of the hunt for themselves in order to build up the excitement and adrenaline.
Wulver Traits
Your Wulver character has the following racial traits.Creature Type
You are a Humanoid.
Rallying Howl
Your excitement for the hunt is overwhelms you as you howl into the sky, encouraging your pack to join your fervour.
Once on your turn, you can use your Bonus Action to Howl and bring your party together to enjoy the fight; all allies who can hear you within 60ft of you gain Advantage on their next attack roll. This effect lasts for 1 minute after you howl or until they attack, whichever happens first. You can use this ability up to your proficiency modifier times per long rest.
Hunter's Maw
When you take the attack action on your turn, you can make a bite attack against your enemy instead of a regular attack.
If you hit with this bite, you deal piercing damage equal to 2d4 + your strength modifier and if you had advantage on this bite attack, you can also grapple your target if it is the same size as you or smaller. A grappled creature may use it's action to make a strength check to attempt to break out of your jaws, the DC for this is 8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency Bonus.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in Darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in Darkness, only Shades of Grey.
Wilderness Savant
You are proficient in two skills from the Centaur skill list and one from the Minotaur skill list.
