Homebrew Ashen (Lim-Dim) Species Details
The Ashen are a race of people who are said to live near the Core, said to be one of the few species to have been underground during the Cataclysm and survived. Most of the Ashen have dedicated themselves to Kythorn, who is said to be the creator of their race. They tend to fall in between Aasimar and Genesi in terms of race.

Age
The Ashen mature at about the same rate as humans and reach adulthood in their late teens. They live somewhat longer than humans do, up to 120 years. However, they are a race at war, so the average age and lifespan is currently lower than it is during times of peace, thus many Ashen die considerably younger than their natural lifespan.
Alignment
They normally take on neutral and good alignments.
Size
They are a bit smaller than humans, having an average height of about 5’ for women and 5’5” for men. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages
You can read, write and speak Common and Core.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light.
Fire Resistance
You have resistance to fire damage.
Tool Proficiency
You gain proficiency with the Artisan’s Tools of your choice.
Subraces
The two subraces for the Ashen are Ember and Ash. Choose one of these two.
