Homebrew Beezians Species Details

An odd set of creatures. They're generally small and hairy creatures with big bulbous eyes and large, radiant wings. They have long, tendril-like mouths that stretch downwards, making their speech patterns odd and vibrational. Many have said that the race are descendents from Beelzebub himself, becoming the physical manifestation as his status as the "Lord of the Flies" and are forever cursed to take on his prideful, gluttonous habits. Others suggest they are descendents of the Feywild like the elves, yet no one truly knows where they came from. 

Lords of the Flies

Regardless of where they came from, Beezians are quite in touch with the natural world. Having an anatomy similar to flies, they have large, transparent wings and tall antenna that let them easily traverse even the thickest of jungles. They prefer to live in between trees in the outskirts of forests and close to other civilization. Beezians tend to form closely knit communities to the villages around them as they are inclined towards socializing. They also treasure and sometimes worship their insect kin and let them roam freely in their towns and even on their bodies, making a Beezian village a common epicenter for diseases that could infect incoming travelers.

Beezians, regardless of where they originate, focus on freedom and love.

Beezians are typically those to love attention, and actively seek it whenever possible. Romance is a concept they are especially fond of, and it isn't uncommon to see polyamory or polygamy in a Beezian town, both on the side of the man and the woman. Homosexuality is also not a foreign concept to the Beezians, who are fit to love all people. They are adventurous and rebellious souls, hating authority and doing all possible to restore equality. For this they usually find employment as mercenaries if they are not already in a commune.

Beezians love individuality, and will almost always refuse and actively fight servitude.
