Homebrew Apeling Species Details
Apelings have gray skin their fur can vary from any warm color you can possibly think of and black and white. These creatures' feet can act as hands giving them more capabilities while holding things and in combat. These creatures try to live in solitude and peace in forests or jungles. Their face structures are a combination of humanoid and monkey. An apelings' lifespan is usually about 100 to 200 years, and they mature at around 15 years old. Apelings are also equipped with claws and sharp teeth being able to use the bite and claw attacks. Apelings have tails being able to hold up to the apelings body weight. Apelings can usually weigh around 100 to 200 pounds and can range from 4ft to 7ft tall. NOTE: The weight will depend on the height and size (medium or small). This race praises the sun god Wukong, who in return brings them hope and determination.

As a bonus action you can use this ability and any enemies with 30ft of you must make a charisma saving throw DC:11. If they fail, they have the condition frightened. This ability also adds an extra d6 to your next attack.
Apeling Weapon Training
You have proficiency with Spears, Javelins, Quarterstaffs, Slings, Darts, Blowgun, and Boomerangs.
Ability Score Increase
Choose to increase 3 scores by one (+1/+1/+1) or Increase 2 scores by two and one (+2/+1).

You can speak read and write Common and one other language of choice that you and your DM agree is appropriate for your character.

Size
You can choose to be a medium or small creature. When medium you are 5-7 feet tall and can weigh from 150-200lbs. When small you are 3-4 feet tall and weigh 50-100lbs.
Speed
Your walking speed is 30ft.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Expert Free Runner
You have a base climbing speed of 20ft, you can ignore difficult terrain, and you have proficiency in acrobatics.
Armed to the Teeth
Your claws give you an additional climbing speed of 20ft and you can use the claw attack. you also have sharp teeth and can use the bite attack.
Ambidextrous
Your feet can act as hands, you can use your bonus action to make another attack and you have a proficiency in sleight of hand.
Flexible Tail
Apelings have tails being able to hold up to the apelings body weight.
