Homebrew Arachnea Species Details

Arachnea come in many varieties but always share a few common traits a spider abdomen with eight legs that can produce spider silk of varying thicknesses. They have the upper half of a humanoid body on the front of their body this humanoid body half can share many to very few traits with a spider often they have four or more red eyes and large fangs capable of injecting a venom into dead animals the teeth are not strong enough to be used on a active creature without damaging them. They use this venom to liquefy the organs their meals as they are not capable of digesting most food that isn't liquefied.

Arachnea have a climbing speed of 30 and can climb on any surface that isn't metal or wet

Spider silk

Arachnea can produce silk with the same strength and width of a standard rope this silk can be sticky and adhere to most substances they can produce 10 feet of temporary silk per minute this silk will decay after 24 hours. They can also produce permanent silk this silk will not decay for many years but can only be produced at a speed of 20 feet per hour. While producing silk they cannot move
