Homebrew Bakemono Species Details
Bakemono are the ghostly goblins of the mountain realms of Yomi and Shinuyama being divided into two types. They were slaves under the Oni of Yomi and their position changed drastically with the coming of the Bakemono Kings in their new feudal society. The youngest of them are the Bakemono-sho, ugly, warty, and brutal. The Dai Bakemono are the older grown classification. They are to the other Bakemono what a Samurai is to the peasantry. As proud warriors and generals of remarkable martial skill, they lead the armies of Shinuyama in the conquest of lesser realms.

Mountain Clans
Born deep in the mountains of Shinuyama, you have keen senses and intuition, and your fleet feet carry you quickly and stealthily through your native mountains. This gives you a bonus proficiency in stealth & survival, with an additional advantage for rolls on survival in mountains.

Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age
Dai Bakemono have a much faster lifecycle compared to humans but they have no formal age where they claim adulthood their max-age being around 50 years old.
Size
Dai-Bakemono are somewhat larger and bulkier than humans, As a juvenile, they range from 3 to 5 feet tall, however as an adult they average 7-9 feet. Your size is medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
Thanks to your Bakemono blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
