Homebrew Chwinga Species Details
Far from the modernized world of civilization, a wanderer may encounter one of these unusual beings. Of course, they might not know it. Chwinga are fascinated by the civilized races of the world, and will often take an interest in adventurers they spot exploring the unspoiled wildernesses they call home. Boundlessly curious, but tragically shy, they will trail and observe, careful not to be noticed unless they wish to interact. Not being able to speak, an encounter with a Chwinga is often as offputting as it is delightful. They appear from within their hiding places, showing themselves to be tiny doll-like humanoids made of natural substances and elements. What sets the Chwinga apart are their ever-present masks, of which no two are alike. They may trail and support their fascinations for a while before departing, often imparting a magical gift to those it especially took a liking to. Sometimes, it may stick around a lot longer.
