Superior Darkvision

Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet.

Sunlight Sensitivity

You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Aquatic Sense

While underwater you have Blindsight in a 30 foot radius.

Cute Face

With a cute and squishy face, it is difficult for you to instill fear into others. You have disadvantage in Charisma (Intimidation) checks, but advantage in Charisma (Persuasion) checks.

Regeneration

Your body can naturally regenerate. If you have 1 or more hit points and are below half your hit point maximum, as a bonus action you may spend up to half of your hit dice to regain hit points. Once you use this trait you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest. In addition, any severed limbs you have lost will grow back within 2d4 days.

Gray Scale Sight

Your creature can only perceive its surroundings in a grayscale, whether on land or in the water.

Ability Score Increase

Your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.

Age

Axolotl mature to adulthood by the age of 25 and are known to live up to 150 years.

Most Axolotl are true neutral or have some aspect of neutrality in their alignment. They tend toward good, coming from a culture where compassion for the downtrodden is a commonality.

Survival Instincts

After being hunted for several decades, the Axolotl have become quite a cautious race. Therefore, they gain proficiency in survival and perception. However, you also gain an innate fear of Tabaxi and Aarakocras.
