Homebrew Corpse Hugger Species Details

A small fungal infection that latches onto corpses and controls them. Live largely separate from each other and are nomadic, trying to fit into society. These parasites can fully reanimate a body using with their own consciousness. When they take over a body they adopt the physical stats (Str, Dex, Con) and carry over their own mental stats (Int, Wis, Cha). They keep the class and racial features of their hosts as well as proficiencies. The huggers can also access the memories of their hosts. 

Corpse Hugger Traits

+2 Intelligence, Body Jumping, Squishy Frame, Darkvision

Darkvision

Have darkvision up to 60 feet.

+2 Intelligence

Your intelligence score increases by 2.

Body Jumping

On your turn you can use a bonus action to leave your body and become your true form.

This form is considered tiny has AC of 10, 16 Hit Points, 6 Strength, 12 Dexterity, 18 Constitution and whatever you rolled for Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. It is blind and deafened immune to the Prone condition. It has a walking and climbing speed of 10 and a burrowing speed of 20.

Can fit through gaps 2 inches wide or more while not in a body.
