Homebrew Anisopteran Species Details

Anisopterans spend most of their lives in and around hidden lakes and rivers deep in the forests. The average Anisopteran is rather weak physically, therefore they developed a natural affinity to magic, being drawn to the arcane arts. They stand between 2 and 4 feet tall, size small, and never surpass 40 pounds naturally. Their skin can be various shades of black, green, violet, or blue and their large compound eyes catch the smallest movement. Their wings, similar to that of a dragonfly's, can carry them and one medium creature for a short period of time or them and their items for several hours.
