Homebrew Zora Species Details
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Age. Zora age much slower than Hylians, reaching maturity around their seventh or eighth decade and living for several centuries.
Alignment.
Size. Zora stand between 5.5 and 6.5 feet tall, with a variety of builds comparable to humans. Your size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Your vision is well suited to the dark and dim conditions of aquatic caves and ocean depths. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Natural Swimmers. You have a swimming speed of 40 feet and can breathe in both air and water. However, you require twice the normal ration of water each day.
Subrace. Zora from different environs vary in appearance and ability. Choose from either Greenscale Zora or Whitebelly Zora.

Greenscale Zora
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Stream Skulker. While you are fully submerged in water, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks to hide from creatures that are not in the water.
Acid Ball. Your are able to spit caustic mucus projectiles as a ranged weapon attack. You are proficient with this attack, which has range 20/40 and deals 1d4 acid damage on hit.
Society. Greenscale Zora live on their own, and attack most people that approach them.

Whitebelly Zora
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
With the Band. You have proficiency with a musical instrument of your choice.
Blade Fins. You have one sharp fin on each arm, allowing you to make unarmed strikes that deal 1d4 slashing damage on a hit. Additionally, you can detach either fin to use as a thrown weapon with a range of 10/20 that deals 1d4 slashing damage on hit. Each fin withers away after it has been thrown once, preventing you from attacking with it further, but will grow back during your next long or short rest. You are proficient with your fins.
Society. Whitebelly Zoras are much more welcoming than their greenscaled counterparts. They have a very elegant and balanced society, with many zoras filling their roles happily in service to King Zora, with the same bloodline ruling the Zoras since the beginning of Hyrule itself. They tend to keep to themselves, but will answer when called upon as they are very proud warriors.
