Homebrew Aasimar Dragonchild Species Details

Shiftform

You can wildshape into Dragon form and into Humanoid form (However the DM can decide whether shafting temporarily changes stats or not and whether you can halfshift to give yourself scales and wings or not)

Magical prowess

Dragonblood elves are incredibly proficient with magic from birth, and the dragon binding ceremony only strengthens this inherit magical ability. Dragonblood elves do not need a wand or other weapon to channel their magical abilities.

Natural Stealth

Dragonblood elves are incredibly dexterous and light on their feet. because of this, they receive a bonus to stealth and all other tasks involving moving quietly or doing something undetected. 

Extra Language

You can speak, read, and write Draconic.

Celestial Resistance

You have resistance to necrotic damage and radiant damage.

Healing Hands

As an action, you can touch a creature and cause it to regain a number of hit points equal to your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again untl you finish a long rest.

Lightbearer

You know the light cantrip. Charisma is your spell casting ability for it.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Celestial.

Ability Score Increase

Your ability score increases Wisdom +2, Intelligence +1

Age

Aasimar Dragon Children mature at the same rate Aasimar to maturity, but they can live as long as a Dragon.

Dark Vision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Draconic Nature

Your creature type is considered to be both dragon and humanoid.

Draconic Empathy

Whenever you make a Charisma check when interacting with dragons, your proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check. Additionally, if you know the find familiar spell, you can choose to have your familiar take the form of a psuedodragon instead of one of the normal forms.

Draconic Resistance

You have resistance to one type of damage, choosing from acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison (your choice). This usually corresponds to the damage type dealt by your draconic parent.

Dragon Claws

Your sharp claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. The damage die for your unarmed strike increases to a d4, and it can deal slashing damage instead of bludgeoning damage

Celestial Dragon

Can eventually gain an additional shiftform as a Celestial Dragon with no change to stats in comparison but aesthetic advantages as such a being is truly a rarity (DM can decide when you get access and what advantages you can use)
