Homebrew Bat Folk Species Details
Bat folk are similar to ratfolk in terms of stats, however, due to their flight and how they see things, they play differently. and are very used to living in caves and underground.
Bat Folk Traits
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.Blindsight
You have blindsight out to a distance of 30 feet.
Blind as a Bat
You have normal sight out to 15 feet with your eyes and can't discern color, only in shades of grey. You cannot use your normal sight if what you are trying to perceive is in sunlight or bright light.
One With Darkness
You know the vicious mockery cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the darkness spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Echolocation
Echolocation. You can't use blindsight while deafened.
