Homebrew Batfolk Species Details

The batfolk are a race of small winged goblinoids that live deep underground. They dwell in small cities, built in to the upper ceiling of the Underdark. Their society may seem simple at first, but upon closer inspection reveals a distinct economy based upon using knowledge as currency. They sustain themselves by growing different varieties of mushrooms in addition to hunting insects and rodents. Batfolk often leave their homes and venture in to the outside world in search of greater knowledge. The batfolk tend to gravitate towards a true neutral alignment, desperate to see a situation from every possible standpoint.
