Homebrew Bear Species Details
Its a damn bear! Like Paddington or Yogi, except cant speak. Just as handy however as they are capable of using tools.
Having the values and mannerisms of a bear, but with the capability's of a human. They are capable of tool use and combat, and most are capable of reading. They have close bonds to those they consider friends, and all experience a frenzy when they believe their friends are endangered. They enjoy fishing, and have a vice towards alcohol and tobaccos, and also are capable of having relations with humans.
Mama Bear
No matter the gender of the bear, whenever a person a bear cares about is in peril, a bear will disregard itself and its circumstance in an attempt to help that person.
Bear Hug
The saying "bear hug' is not just a saying to bears. It is a way of combat. Due to their great strength bears have a pension for squishing things.

Bears like to travel light, only carrying what they believe to be necessary to an adventure.
Bear Names
Depending on whether they have a close relationship with humanoids, bears can have two distinct names. A bear name, denoted by a distinct bear noise, and a human name given to them by Humanoids.
Male Bear Names: Ruah, Mwah, Phil, Paddington, Yogi, Baloo, Mishka
Female Bear Names: Huhh, Uahh, Rose, Dorthy, Blanch, Sophia
Bear Traits
A bear that has humanoid abilitys while retaining its bearish form and vices.Ability Score Increase

Age
Bears mature a little faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 14. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 75 years.
Size
Bears are somewhat larger and bulkier than humans, and they range from 5 to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
Thanks to your bear blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Menacing
You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.
Relentless Endurance
When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Savage Attacks
When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Bear. Bear is a harsh, grating language with hard consonants. It has no script of its own but is written in the Dwarvish script.
