Homebrew Blood Snakes Species Details

Blood Snakes

During the night, a large serpent like creature, slithers her way into camp of the strongest hunters in the area. One of the hunters is taking watch, silently the creature slithers up to the hunter, she shows him her long beautiful hair of snakes and the hunter is blinded and paralyzed. The creature devours him as he is slowly being killed and eaten away by the creatures acid stored in her teeth leaving nothing behind. With the watch guard gone, the creature can now silently move throughout the camp, devouring everything in her path completely silently. No screams where ever heard from the camp and everything was missing. The highly intelligent creature knows that morning is coming, and decides to lay down next to the campfire. As the sun begins to creep up, hisses and screeches of pain can be heard coming from the camp from a distance. Morning has now arrived and next to the campfire is a a pale, slimy girl with snakes for hair, sleeping after a long night. 

Feared By Most 

Being feared by most if not all humans that come into contact with a Blood Snake due to their terrifying nature began a mistrust in all other creatures, and lead the creatures to depend only on themselves. Due to their high intelligence and unfortunate view on humanity  many of the Blood Snakes turn to the path of darkness and choose to devour people and other creatures to gain power. 

Taste For Flesh

You have the taste for blood but not only blood, flesh and everything in a 20ft radius of you. Eating these things gives you strength. You can eat just about anything and your stomach a bottomless pit, your long fangs ooze out acid strong enough to completely burn through flesh, most of the Blood Snakes do not enjoy eating others, but you can not help it.

Serpent Attack

The serpents on your hair are sentient beings with their own free will, they attack enemies every turn dealing 1d6 piercing damage, you can add your strength modifier to this. 

Serpent Eyes

You have the ability to paralyze and blind an enemy temporarily for 3 hours just by looking at them and having you look at them (You have control over this) You can do this three times after a long/short rest. 

Serpent Fangs

Your set of fangs is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. Dealing  piercing damage equal to 1d4 + Strength Mod, as an unarmed strike this also does 1d8 acid damage.
