Homebrew Dengel Species Details

A Broad Spectrum

Dengels are much like humans in a sense they look the same other than a few exceptions. You have heterochromia. One eye must be a cool color and the other a warm color. eg. blue/red

You develop wings when you become level 3. They either are white devil wings or they are red or black angel wings. When you become level 3 you will be able to control if they are out or not and you are able to fly. Your fly speed is equal to your walking speed.

An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall and weigh from 125 to 250 pounds. Dengel skin shades range from black to white, and hair colors from black to blond (curly, kinky, or straight); males might sport facial hair that is sparse or thick. Similar to gnomes, Dengels mature at the same rate Humans do, and most are expected to settle down into an adult life by around age 40. They can live 350 to almost 500 years.

Close cousins

You have a very close cousin in this world; Nephilims. Like your cousins you are an unholy unity between a Celestial and an Infernal being. Unlike your cousins you are favored by your parents therefore they gave you a few gifts before you left to explore the worlds. Your gifts consist of an infernal item and a celestial item. (Item depends on DM)

You and your cousins aren't close. Quite the opposite actually. There is a blood feud between the Nephilims and Dengels. You look similar but your cousins look less human and more Celestial/Infernal. See Nephilims for more information.

Born to be Neutral

Dengels are a very neutral race. They were born of both an evil race and a good race. Your alignment is neutral. Whether it be lawful neutral, true neutral or chaotic neutral. You tend to stick to caring about just yourself and your companions.

Dengel Traits

Thanks to being born of both infernal and celetials you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
