Homebrew Concaver Species Details
Concavers are small rock creatures found in caves and caverns under the surface. One of the defining traits is their ability to eat and shoot out rocks at anyone would disrupt their peace. Many groups of Concavers compete with groups of Kobolds that also live in caves for territory and power.
Concaver Traits
Your concaver character has certain characteristics in common with all other concaver.Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Yeti, and Primordial. Primordial is a guttural language, filled with harsh syllables and hard consonants.
Stone's Diet
Concavers usually only consume rocks and stones as a source of food. As such, they do not need "normal" food to live, the occasional stone will do.
Upchuck
Concavers have a unique ability that allows them to upchuck rocks they have eaten into hard hitting projectiles. As an action, you can fire a rock at a creature within 30 feet, the rock does 1d8 bludgeoning damage + your constitution modifier.
Darkvision
You have 65 feet of darkvision.
Variant Trait
When you reach the 3rd level, you can choose a variant trait that reflects what Concaver lineage you come from. Concavers come from all kinds of different caves and caverns.
Ability Score Increase
You can increase one ability score by 2 and another one by 1, or you can increase three different ability scores by 1.
Age
Concavers reach adulthood around the age of 10 years old. They live somewhat shorter than humans do, up to 60 years.
Alignment
Concavers tend toward a neutral alignment.
Size
Concavers are not very tall creatures, usually standing on an average of 2'5. Your size is small.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 20 feet, and your base burrowing speed is 40 speed.
