Homebrew Wukong - Decendent of the Monkey King Species Details

The monkey king once created a paradise for the monkeys on the mountain of flowers and fruit. However after the king was sealed away and those bitter in heaven turned their wrath on his subordinates.
The Decedents of those monkeys had to flee creating new towns and cities away from those who would persecute them. Worshiping the Monkey king as a god, most adventuring Wukon's are always in search of hidden places hoping to one day find their sealed god and release him. 

Curious and Mischievous

They are fidgety and constantly moving, often seeming paranoid or always on edge making quick sharp movements. Naturally curious they cant help but open a box left in front of them.  Practical jokers they often get in trouble with other races for their abnormal sense of humor.

 Appearance 

They are slightly shorter than humans on average, ranging from well under 5 feet tall to just over 6 feet. They are more muscled than humans, weighing roughly 150 to 250 pounds. Males and females are about the same height, and males are only marginally stockier than females. A Wukon’s hair coloration appears in shades of reds, browns, blacks and even sometimes white. Their eyes are like fire, reds and oranges are common with blues and greens less common. Wukons have much facial and body hair the males normally have large sideburns with some hair on the back of hands and feet. They favor simple clothing but in bright vivid colours with golds and jewels accenting, Most wear a gold circlet as a symbol of their heritage. Their faces are slightly pronounced and more monkey like than more regular humans with larger canine teeth, they have lost their most of their monkey features and fur but they still retain their dexterous furry tail.

Treetop cities

Wukons make their home in the treetops, tree-houses joined by rope bridges, swings and pullies. Whole cities built in the canopy of large forests.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and one other ability score of your choice increase by 1.

Age

Wukongs mature at the same rate humans do and reach adulthood around the age of 20. They live much longer than humans, however, often exceeding 200 years.

Naturally chaotic in nature.

They are slightly shorter than humans on average, ranging from well under 5 feet tall to just over 6 feet. Your size is medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet. You have a climbing speed of 30 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common.

Lessons From the Great Sage

You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.

Tricks from the Great Sage

You gain some Magical abilities handed down by the Monkey King.

A number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest, you can create illusionary duplicates of yourself as per the mirror image spell. At level 10 your clones now have a physical body(1hp) and are able to take 1 action (1 melee attack or 1 cantrip). Also during your turn you can choose to cast a spell through 1 of your clones.

When you reach 5th level, you can fly by riding a cloud, it functions as if you cast the Fly spell. Once per your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Charisma is your spell casting ability for these spells.

Proficiency in staff weapons . (quaterstaff's, spears, halberds etc.)
