Homebrew Venom Symbiote Species Details
A Symbiote cannot survive on its own. It needs a host (usually a humanoid) to survive. Any race can become a Venom Symbiote. A creature that comes into contact with a Symbiote without a host must make a DC20 CON save or become a Venom Symbiote.
Venom Symbiote Traits
You can transform into Symbiote form with this race.Symbiote
A creature that becomes a Symbiote keeps its normal racial traits with the following changes:
1. Ability score mods change to +2 STR +1 CON
2. They gain the ability to change into Symbiote form as an action once a day. During this time, their size is large, their STR is 20, their alignment is chaotic neutral or chaotic evil, and they gain a bite attack (5ft, 1 target, 1d8 piercing damage).
3. They lose any racial proficiencies.

Posted Nov 17, 2022"Becomes a venom Symbiote" I'm not sure if you meant becomes it's host or becomes another Symbiote if you could clear that up it'd be helpful and how classes work for a Symbiote
