Homebrew Boarkinde Species Details

Boarkinde are massively strong and durable beings which are also considerably intelligent. They are generally quite hairy and tend to be either extremely muscular or covered in layers upon layers of fat. Their eyes are solid in color and their hide ranges from deep browns to pinks, with large tusks growing from the mouths of males. 

Because of their usually labor-intensive lives, Boarkinde have naturally developed immense physical strength and resistance to all damage, which has also become the feature which motivates them to their violent ways, as most believe themselves to be superior to all others. Their social constructs are highly forward-thinking and incorporate fantastic childcare and training programs. 

Instead of worshiping a deity or idea, Boarkinde focus their society around material wealth, specifically gold. They craft intricate weaponry, armor and jewelry out of the substance, sometimes going so far as to employ magic to enhance the things they create, further demonstrating their great intellectual prowess.

Boarkinde are quick to anger and will become violent at the slightest provocation, making them quite volatile in aggressive verbal confrontations. They are also deeply distrustful of anyone who has disrespected their craftsmanship or who have chosen to use anything than the provided gold given by Boarkinde. Boarkinde will also become extremely violent if they see pork being consumed or prepared for consumption.
