Homebrew Canim/Cane/Canid (Wolf people ) Species Details

For the Pack

Canim are driven wholly by their role in the pack.  They may seek to move up the social ladder, as long as it benefits the pack.  Fierce fighters and individually formidable, they work in a group exceeding well, though rarely it is possible to find a lone canim.   While the pack's well being is tantamount, there is a constant delicate dance of building standing and honor in order to raise your social standing, often by dominating another canim.  Though they fight together, they fight individually together, each canim considering himself self-sufficient.

Defined by Opposition

Due to the canim pack mentality, they see the world clearly divided into Us and Them.  They respect competent opponents and often will use enemies, foes, and trials as a way to measure their own advancement and progress.  Against enemies they respect they strive their best to defeat them, honoring themselves and their enemy by taking them seriously.
