Homebrew Werewolf Species Details
The persecution of werewolves and the associated folklore is an integral part of the "witch-hunt" phenomenon, albeit a marginal one, accusations of lycanthropy being involved in only a small fraction of witchcraft trials. During the early period, accusations of lycanthropy (transformation into a wolf) were mixed with accusations of wolf-riding or wolf-charming.
Werewolf Traits
Your Lycan character has an assortment of inborn abilities, part and parcel of Lycan nature.Ability score increase
Your Constitution score increases by 2 and your Strength score increases by 1. See TCoE for custom lineage rules.
Age
Lycans are quick to mature both physically and emotionally, reaching young adulthood at age 10. They rarely live to be more than 90 years old.
Alignment
Lycans tend toward neutrality, being more focused on survival than concepts of good and evil. A love of personal freedom can drive Lycans toward chaotic alignments.
Size
Your size is Medium.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60ft of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in darkness, only shades of Gray.
Thrill of the Hunt
When travelling for an extended period of time (one hour or more), you can move stealthily at a normal pace or travel at a fast pace without any Passive Perception penalty.

Supernatural Senses
You have advantage with Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell. Choose one creature you have dealt damage to within the last 10 minutes. You have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) or Wisdom (Survival) checks you make to find that creature for the next 8 hours, as long as they are on the same plane of existence as you. You can use this feature a number of times equal to twice your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Cursed Ancestry
You’ve learned to control the lycanthropic curse that courses through your veins. As a bonus action, you can assume one of two bestial forms. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes, until you die, or until you revert to your normal appearance as a bonus action. When you change, you gain temporary hit points equal to your character level + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 temporary hit point). You also gain additional benefits depending on your chosen bestial form, described below. Once you transform, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
Languages
Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character.
