Homebrew Aquariuns Species Details
There are stories of people coming from the sea and looking like a human but not, people have seen them go into the water and hours later come back with shipwreck survivors. They come and go whenever they're needed or not, some cause terror and some cause hope, they're interesting to say the least yet there are more to learn about them and I will find out what it is to learn.
— Arthur Wedgerinser, Wizard of the Arcane Institute
In the reckonings of most worlds, Aquariuns are among the youngest of the common races due to their human ancestors, fairly late in their creation but long-lived compared to their short-lived counterparts, yet still as adventure and adaptable as them, once they want to achieve something or help another race or people then they will do it but some are the opposite and don't want to help at all.
A Rooted yet Adventurous Spectrums
With their desire to help or explore, some migrate to other countries but nearly always places near the sea so they can still feel a connection to their true home and birth place An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall and weigh from 125 to 250 pounds. Like Humans, Aquariuns skin shades range from nearly black to very pale, and hair colors from black to blond (curly, kinky, or straight); males might sport facial hair that is sparse or thick, both males and females sometimes sport flowing tribal tattoos on their skin as a sign of personality or station in their community. All Aquariuns mature to adulthood as their human counterparts of the age of 18 yet live up to 200 years unlike humans.
Strength with Pride
Aquariuns are prideful people but not over bearing prideful as they see that without the help of higher beings then they might of been destroyed yet they take strength in that so they take pride in their survival and gain strength to keep on surviving through anything they face.
Lasting Impressions
Unlike Elves or Dwarves who spend their life protecting a certain location or keeping a powerful secret, Aquariuns desire to create alliances or agreements between races that live on land near to the sea as to make sure that their city and home isn't in any danger, which in turn they help protect the races they've made these alliances or agreements with so generations of a race with short live spans or even a city of Elves or Dwarves know that the Aquariuns want to help as long as you help them in return.
So their views on other races are natural and untanned but they do not trust Drow or any races with cruelty or savagery in their hearts.
Thrill for Adventure
Young Aquariuns tend to have the desire to go on adventures or explore the world, and being daring. It's not fully known why the young have this wanderlust, maybe it's due to being brought up in a society where they should protect their home or is it their human ancestry fuelling it to be daring and ambitious. It's not fully investigated as of yet.
