Homebrew Cut Shadow Species Details
Cut from its Shadowmaker with a pair of Scissors of Shadow Snipping, the Cut Shadow has evolved into its own being. It can travel between the rift separating shadow from the world itself. Although able to be part of world proper, there is a disconnect. Shadow drips from its physical form, and it longs to be reunited with its Shadowmaker.
Cut Shadow Traits
Shadow Form: The Cut Shadow can shift between being a shadow upon the wall/ground and being a 4D being within the physical plane. It takes an action to shift between the two. When in shadow form, the Cut Shadow can't interact with the world around it, but can only take radiant damage. When in physical form, the Cut Shadow can interact with the world around it, but is vulnerable to radiant damage.Shadow Form

Blindsight
"Blindsight" was a general term for the natural ability of certain creatures to perceive their surroundings as well as a sighted creature yet without using visual senses. Senses that could contribute to a creature's overall blindsight included enhanced hearing, an acute sense of smell, sensitivity to vibrations, or such specialized senses as echolocation. Because the sense of sight was not involved, a creature with blindsight was not hindered by such spell effects as invisibility or darkness.
