Homebrew Akiridion Species Details
Characteristics
The Akiridions are distinguished by their vibrant blue-colored humanoid body, electric-blue hair and glowing eyes. They are energy lifeforms with corporeal bodies that comes from their life cores, which are their very life-forces and souls. They also wear jumpsuits with different shades of blue with electric blue trimmings.
A common Akiridion only has two arms, usually two eyes, three or four fingers, and their life cores are more rectangular with three linings. A royal Akiridion has four arms, five fingers, and their life cores have a more unique style than a commoner Akiridion's.
Akiridions are stronger, faster, durable, agile, intelligent, and have better reflexes than an average human. Also, being inorganic life forms, they have little need of food or drink for substance, and it is assumed that they have a level of hypermetabolism. They also have vacuum adaption as they don't require oxygen to survive in space and can live longer than an average human. They do, however need to recharge, by a version of sleeping.
An Akiridion also will not die as long as its life core is not destroyed, but if its physical body is destroyed, its reconstruction would take an indeterminate amount of time.
Akiridions have access to technology that can change their physical appearance for a few hours and can appear as any other species during that time.
Society, Culture, and History
The Akiridions lives in a society characterized by its technology. Its science and maths are so advanced that make Earth's technology look more primitive than theirs. Some Akiridions have portable hoverboards which can collapse to a small chip, can fit up to two medium creatures, and have a flying speed of 40. (This is a vehicle your DM may allow you to have.) Some Akiridions have weapons called serrators, which are half-chakram shaped and can switch between functioning as a blade, blaster, two-pronged spear, or shield, all made of ionic energy. See SERRATORS homebrew for more information. As mentioned by Krel, Akiridions gather knowledge through "thermogenic cosmesis" rather than being taught, which is most likely why they are more intelligent than other life forms. They are well known for this heightened intelligence.
Long ago, an ancient Akiridion deity named Gaylen was said to have god-like powers within his core, which was capable of creating and destroying entire planets. With the strength of his core, Gaylen crushed the stars and used its dust to create Akiridion-5. However, he became greedy with his power and almost destroyed the planet. Luckily, an ancient royal Akiridion named Seklos built a cannon and, using all of the life force from her core, defeated Gaylen and hid his core, for it was far too powerful for anyone to possess.
For hundreds of years, Akiridion-5 stood divided between two houses. The House Akram of Queen Coranda's ancestors and House Ventis of King Fialkov's ancestors. They celebrate the joining of the two great houses into House Tarron on the day of Princess Aja and Prince Krel's in-waiting coronation to declare the heir to the throne be ready and good.
Continued History (contains 3-Below spoilers):
General Morando led a coup that resulted in the king and queen losing their physical bodies and their heirs being forced to flee. While Morando consolidated his powers and began hiring bounty hunters to recover the royal life cores and capture or kill the heirs, a resistance formed with the goal of restoring House Tarron to the throne.
Despite Morando's hostile takeover, public worship of the royals threatened to spark open rebellion. Desiring to destroy the populace's hope, Morando sent his first Omen Blank to Earth to put an end to House Tarron. However, Princess Aja's fierce resistance merely inspired the populace before she and her brother encouraged their people to never surrender. With the royals having foiled him again, Morando prepared to launch a full-scale invasion of Earth.
With the sacrifice of the king and the queen's royal life cores, Morando and his invasion force failed after obtaining Gaylen's Core. While Krel decides to stay on Earth a while longer, Aja returns to Akiridion-5 as its new regent.

Despite their enhanced durability, Akiridions can lose their physical bodies if they suffer too much damage. However, they don't truly die as long as their life cores remain intact. If the core is active blue, they can be placed in stasis and the Akiridion's body can regenerate for an undetermined amount of time. But if the cores are dead gray, then stasis is not possible and the Akiridion is completely dead.
