Homebrew Cubus Species Details

And they come in the night, through your windows or cracks in the floorboards, slithering up to rest atop you... and no person is safe from their onslaught. They take, and they take... until theres not a damn thing left.

                        - A passage from the log of demonology

Fear. Bartering. Yearning- These principles summarise the life and existence of Incubi and Succubi. They are the thin line between adoration and hatred. They live to be sought after, in both a sense of hatred and longing. Their lineage can be traced directly to sharing blood with Asmodeus—overlord of the Nine Hells. Regardless or this rather high standing, they are despised by Devilkind for their enticing aura, and as feared and loathed as the regular tiefling in the regular plains.

The Embodiment of Lust

Incubi and Succubi are firstly and foremostly attractive. They possess features of a varying kind, yet they all possess a desirable aura around them. They stand out from regular tieflings, however, due to differing features. Large horns, often with multiple sets, long pointed ears, long claws, and unusual markings along their womb and lower back, sometimes spanning downwards. Their wings protrude from their lower back, instead of between their shoulder blades, and they tend to come in a variety of beautiful colours.

Give & Take

Cubi tend to want only one thing in life- To receive. This motivates and drives their every action, and they have no problem people pleasing to get this reciprocation. Be it energy, numbers, or pleasure, the Cubi want satisfaction, and they will give their all if it means they get their one want.

Despite this, they are notoriously hated and feared by the general populous. People want to keep these creatures away, and other devilkind despise them, so they tend to stay to themselves, despite their need for others.

Cubi Names

Cubi don't give away their real names, for this gives whomever knows it power over the devilkin. For this reason, they go by names that are used during intimate encounters for their self preservation.
