Crocodillans are between 6 to 8 feet tall, and have tails that span between 2 to 4 feet long. Your size is medium.

Crocodillans reach maturity at age 20, and can live up to 200 years, though few make it past 60.

You have a walking speed of 30ft, and a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.

You can hold your breath for up to 1 hour at a time.

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You have a powerful jaw that you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with it, the strike deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier piercing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Additionally, when you take the attack action, you can make one bite attack as a bonus action on each of your turns.

Once per turn, when you successfully hit a creature with your bite attack, you can attempt to grapple them as part of the same attack. While a creature is grappled this way, you cannot bite a different target until the grapple ends.

Your curiosity has lead you to learn something new. You gain proficiency in any one tool or weapon of your choice.

You can speak, read, and write Common and any one other language of your choice.
