Homebrew Ashandre Species Details

Living in active volcanoes and other thermal active regions Ashandre, also called the children of the Ash or Vulcanic Shadows, are basically sentient piles of Ashes. They can take any physical form they want.  It is said that that they are a creation of the Traveller (Artagan).

Like the Changelings they also have the ability to shift their form freely, however because they are made of Ash the shifting abilitys of the Ahsandre are far less restricted. It is a natural instinct of this species to have the desire to adept perfectly to their environment.

Ashandre are bound to their birthplace and because of that are unable to leave it, a curse said to be placed on them by the gods of the Sovereign Host. The only way to get rid of this curse is to be in the center of  vulcanic erruption that has enough force to destroy mountains or with comparable power. Even for an Ashandre this would be very dangerous. That is the reason why not many Ashandre strive through the rest of the world.
