Homebrew Batlings Species Details
The batlings are an ancient race, commonly from the underdark however as the world has changed and evolved the batlings have decided to change along with it.
As a Batlings you resemble that of a bat, because of this you have bat like characteristics here are some examples to roll for using a d8 however You’re also free to come up with your own characteristic if none of the suggestions below fit your character.
Batling Characteristics

Creating Your Character
At 1st level, you choose whether you’re a small or large creature.
Ability Score Increases
When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. Follow this rule regardless of the method you use to determine the scores, such as rolling or point buy. The “Quick Build” section for your character’s class offers suggestions on which scores to increase. You can follow those suggestions or ignore them, but you can’t raise any of your scores above 20.

Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character.

Batlings have a lifespan of around 60 years.
Height
Batling stand anywhere between 2 and 6 feet tall.

Flight
Because of your wings, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor.
