Homebrew Corrupted Species Details

Corrupted were originally humans who were transformed into Abberation through ancient rituals or other means. Most Corrupted died during those rites or effects, but some Corrupted instead became a new people who mix characteristics of humans and Abberations.

Blessed with resistance to the effects that created them, each of these Corrupted manifests their Eldritch heritage in a variety of ways: a tentacle for a toungue, Black eyes, horns, or some other Eldritch characteristic. However a Corrupted looks, they have the power to pursue great good or evil in the multiverse.

 

Life Span

Your life span is dependending on your characters level, as your body grows more and more abberant at every lvl up you can roll a d20, a roll under 10 will subtract the amount of years from your life span, while a number above will add the amount of years. A 1 will halve your remaining live time while a 20 doubles your total. 

Height and weight

 

You weight around the same as before the effect happened, with a few outliers that loose or gain weight threw this effect.

Corrupted Traits

As a Corrupted, you have the following racial traits.

Creature Type

You are a Humanoid/Abberation double type, but you loose the Humanoid type at 5th lvl

Size

You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race.

Speed

Your walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.

Tainted

You are resistant to Necrotic damage but weak to Radiant damage

Mental Resilience

You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the charmed/frightened condition and other Mind altering effects. You also have resistance to psychic damage.

Glitch

 You can Ignore physical, Non magical boundaries [Proficiency bonus] times a day. The Ignored area can be up to a maximum of the [lvl] of the Corrupted. At 5th lvl the player can choose objects in the area that he is still able to interact with. 

Magical objects can't be Ignored.
