The Arachne were the followers of Lolth but some separate and created pods that follow the other God and Goddess . They are constantly being hunted down by bounty hunters or mercenaries because these beings are seen as evil and corrupt but are very protective of their found and biological families, so much so that they have a tendency of going feral when someone they love is hurt.
